The profile of the blade's spine and tang are protected and pertain to the opening of the blade, the locking of the blade, and the unlocking of the blade (Fredette Finger Pit).

The mechanism used to secure different components to the knife handle (like the spring lock and the pocket clip) is also protected (Fredette Band).

Canada Enduring, Inc. will take legal actions against any unapproved use of the intellectual property listed above.
